And the remaining time is dedicated to answering questions of those who heard him.

Pedagogical activities with a minimum of two hours in a row and a maximum of nine hours divided into three sessions, through which people are guided to know and develop their own methods, concepts, techniques, materials and processes, both on making ceramics, as well as on the educational aspect with children, young people and adults.

FICC will have a permanent space where topics will be dealt with through which it is possible to create action models capable of meeting previously detected social needs and in which permanent presence of expert guests on the topics is expected and the participation of people from twelve years onwards.

They are spaces in which both ceramist peoples, as well as creators and representative works with historical and patrimonial value of the ceramic culture are made known in a context that allows us to make them public. At FICC-2018, it is a matter of registrations for the wide circulation of exhibitions that will be carried out by educational or cultural institutions between September 2018 and August 2020, in any city or country, and they will be permanently promoted through FICC promoting strategies and through museographic proposals (temporary or permanent) that can be chosen to be done with donor-sponsor-FICC support.

It is an experience that combines exhibition, use, sale and enjoyment of hot drinks through which people learn something about the history of ceramics and consciously and sensitively approach pieces made by artists and craftsmen of different nationalities.

Spaces through which people with a trajectory of more than fifteen years of work with the creation of ceramics, educational or research processes, tell us about how they carry out their work. In some occasions they guide us in the realization of a piece and in others they let us participate in some of their daily activities: analysis in archaeological laboratories, handling-opening of the oven, enameling of pieces, formulation of clays, modeling of pieces, drawing of plans , guidance in museums, etc. In such a way that they provide experiential elements so that people can better understand their work, assess their products with clear criteria and disseminate their work.

Strategy to promote the spectrum of installations, interventions, collaborative proposals, happenings, performances and other creations that have occurred in the past, exist in the present or can be produced in the future when the ceramic culture (people, objects, processes, materials , etc.) are the axis of investigation-creation-reflection.

An area of promotion-enjoyment of audiovisual creations, videos, films and animations (cartoon, stop motion, etc.) around topics of the ceramic culture. These are elaborated by the ceramists themselves, as well as by professionals in graphic design, audiovisual production, cinema, social communication, visual and plastic arts and related fields.

Strategy for dissemination of pottery workshops, cultural and educational institutions of archaeological-artistic-artisan-industrial ceramics that have the conditions to receive people of all nationalities interested in making exchanges and supporting research.

FICC promotes the strengthening of ceramic markets and therefore works on the dissemination and creation of catalogs and / or directories by means of which people over 12 years can find out about the places where they can buy artistic, artisan ceramics, industrial or artistic industrial.

How was FICC born?

It is one of the results of the research that its coordinator has been doing since 2006 around the concepts created by the German artist Joseph Beuys (Social plastic, social sculpture and social art), from and for the ceramic culture.

For this reason, it makes use of all the potential of social creation that the ceramic culture has; it motivates the construction of desired futures, constitutes effective ways of education, strengthens markets, seeks to make contributions to the mental and spiritual progress of mankind and tends to cultivate the relations among all human beings.

The objective is to be able to guarantee the society the conscious, creative and permanent use of the historical, patrimonial, technical, technological, aesthetic, educational and economic wealth possessed by the ceramic culture and its possibilities in the recovery of identity, promotion of new knowledge and cultivation of individual and collective sensitivity.

FICC articulates the best practices in the management of ceramics such as Les Journées de la cerámique, Café-Cerámique, Route Ateliers-Ouvert, ExhibitionTERRE- 1982, National Meeting of Argentinian Ceramists -ENACER, Ceramic Festival of Cunha- Brazil and International Seminar A CERÂMICA NA ARTE-EDUCAÇÃO, among others.
